Baby Must Haves

Hi Friends!

It’s been a long time, eh?

In the last year since I posted on here, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy!

And even though we’ve elected not to share him on the internet quite yet, I would love to share the things I have found to be amazingly helpful in my first few months of Motherhood.

Here we go!

Copper Pearl 5 in 1 Covers – These are AMAZING. They pop right over your babies car seat, over you while nursing (if you choose to do so), over shopping cart seats, etc… they’re also available in limited designs on Amazon

Elvie Breast Pump – Anything that lets you have use of both hands is a freaking WIN. These are wearable cordless and hands free breast pumps! They’re definitely an investment, but WONDERFUL!

Mockingbird Stroller – this stroller does it ALL. I was looking into another stroller that could switch from using a car seat, bassinet, and regular stroller seat. It also could add a spot for an additional kiddo if we ever decide to grow our family. Needless to say, I loved it. What I didn’t love was the HUUUGE price tag. For the stroller and all the accessories I would have wanted, it would have been thousands. Thank goodness I kept looking.

Frida Baby Windi’s – Newborn gas is awful. Don’t be intimidated, these things freaking rule.

Old Navy Footie Jammies – two way zipper, fold over mittens, cute patterns, EIGHT DOLLARS. Nuff said.

Newton Mattress – You don’t want to worry about your babies ability to breathe if you end up with a tummy sleeper. On top of that, this mattress can be washed right in your bath tub or with a hose, it’s awesome.

Owlet Sleep Sock – if your baby doesn’t sleep in your room, this allows you to peek at their heart rate and breathing in live time. Definitely not a necessity, but super helpful if you’re an anxious mess (ahem, 🙋‍♀️)

Halo Swaddles – this was my sons swaddle preference. We tried dozens of kinds, but he loved his halos. They’re readily available, and come in dozens of adorable fabrics!

Zutano Booties – My baby (and from what I have heard, most other babies) will not keep on socks. These booties snap shut and stay put! They’re soft and precious as can be!

Hatch Sound Machine – With our giant puppy and attention seeking cat, our house can get a little noisy… that’s not great when it comes to nap time. The hatch is super simple to use and can be controlled from your phone OR just tapped to turn on! It can also be used as a night light!

BabyBjörn Carrier Free – Don’t get me wrong, I love my baby wrap, but this bad boy is the MVP. You can carry baby facing in or out, takes 2 seconds to pop your baby in and out, and grows with baby!

I’ll keep updating this as I think of more…

XOXO, E
